Geylang International Football Club partners with Constructor to improve game and business operations

Constructor, part of Constructor group, and provider of an all-in-one platform for education, research and professional sports teams, has signed a partnership deal with Singapore Premier League’s Geylang International Football Club (GIFC).

Through this partnership, Constructor will provide industry-leading platforms to help the Singapore premier league team elevate its performance and gain a significant competitive advantage. GIFC will be able to leverage machine intelligence capabilities and scientific research to improve various aspects of its operations, including performance analysis, scouting, and recruitment, as well as increasing audience entertainment and fan engagement.

Constructor has a team of more than 25 experts with extensive knowledge of machine intelligence, in addition to having effectively serviced its technology and collaborated with top-tier professional sports teams such as Ajax and AS Roma. Constructor’s focus is set on helping the team win more, increase revenue from sponsors, and improve communication, security, and compliance in sports.

In addition to its advanced MI expertise, Constructor has a local presence in Singapore. Many key members of the team are based in the country, and the company works closely with Constructor University, a private English-speaking university in Bremen, Germany, known for its highest standards in research and teaching. The university has an academic partnership with the National University of Singapore and actively recruits students from Singapore to study in Germany.

The partnership with Constructor is also reflected in the GIFC’s newest jersey design which players and officials will be wearing this season.

It comes as a boost for GIFC after a landmark collaboration with City Football Group (CFG), giving the club support across specific areas. With Constructor’s expertise and local presence in Singapore, the club is looking forward to the partnership and the benefits it will bring.

“The new partnership adds a significant value to Geylang International as it will provide us with access to industry-leading data-driven platforms that will help us improve our football and business operations,” said GIFC Chairman Thomas Gay.

“Our aim is to deliver results that are measurable, including better tracking, better performance, and more wins,” added Nick Dobrovolskiy, CTO of Constructor.

The partnership between Constructor and Geylang International Football Club is expected to yield positive results for the club as they compete in the 2023 Singapore Premier League. The team will look to leverage this collaboration to provide them with the resources and expertise necessary to soar higher in the rankings.
