Geylang International and Matsumoto Yamaga FC reaffirm strong ties

Geylang International and Matsumoto Yamaga FC reaffirmed their close and long-standing relationship as the club officials met on Sunday to explore future collaborations going into the seventh year of partnership in 2023.


Officials from both clubs attended a home derby match against Nagano Parceiro which Matsumoto Yamaga won 2-1. Matsumoto Yamaga are now third in J-League 3, with three games remaining in the league. The top-two clubs will be promoted to J-League 2.

Geylang International finished in a respectable fourth place in the recently concluded 2022 AIA Singapore Premier League. Both clubs are sponsored by Epson, a global technology leader from Japan
