While he is not often mentioned when the Class of 92 is brought up, Amy catches the eye in his own way with his speed and bag of tricks. One under-the-radar gem of a goal that doesn’t get talked about more often is his instinctive backheel that sealed a 2-0 win over Hougang United last season. Interestingly, Amy’s professional career began with the Eagles, and this is his third stint (and eighth season) with the club after playing with Young Lions and Home United. He marked his 100th league game for Geylang International with another goal against Hougang, albeit in a 4-1 defeat.
