9 Years of Partnership with Matsumoto Yamaga FC

For nine incredible years, GIFC and Matsumoto Yamaga FC have shared a journey of mutual growth, learning, and friendship. 

Through our partnership, we’ve had players and coaches exchange, fostering a rich cultural exchange. We’ve seen the likes of player Anders Aplin and Coach Noor Ali going to Yamaga for long stints in 2018. Our youth players such as Ilhan Noor, Danish Haziq, Putera Irfan, Andry Akimi, Damien Chiow have also had the opportunity to hone their skills in Japan. Conversely, we were also delighted to host Yamaga players like Sora Tanaka and Misato Kurashi tearlier this year. 

Beyond player exchange, our clubs have had the privilege of hosting each other for tournaments in our respective countries, creating unforgettable experiences for staff and players alike.

GIFC is deeply honoured to be part of this remarkable collaboration, and we are grateful for the trust and camaraderie that Matsumoto Yamaga FC has shown us over the years.
