Luqman’s close control originated from how he started kicking around with ping pong balls when he was in Primary 3. The Chelsea fan then based his game on his football heroes Faris Ramli and Cristiano Ronaldo. Since then, he has blossomed into a winger who is adept on both wings. His football career began with Warriors, where he played youth football through to the Singapore Premier League. Luqman would get called up to the Young Lions for the 2019 season, scored twice in the league and made it to the SEA Games squad. He then signed for Geylang in 2020, and it shouldn’t be long before he takes full flight with the Eagles.
