Past Matches: Eagles VS Protectors

Facts & figures of past meetings between the two sides may not look to be in favor for the Geylang United, but they will definitely look to produce the best results in front of the home supporters in this first home fixture of the year.

Former Eagles defender Sofiyan Abdul Hamid will return to Bedok Stadium for the first time since he signed for Home United. Former striker Masrezwan Masturi will be making his second trip back here. It will also be current Eagle, Faizal Samad’s first time coming up against his former club as well this year.

The Eagles last won Home United 1-0 at Bedok Stadium in 2009. The biggest win the Eagles ever achieved was a 4-0 demolition of Home United, also at Bedok Stadium in the third round of the 2003 S.League.

This match will also see new Korean forward Mun Sung Man making his debut for the team.
