Orange Ribbon Run/Walk 2013 – “Race Against Racism”

On 6th July this year, Geylang International FC will participate in the inaugural Orange Ribbon Run/Walk 2013 – “Race Against Racism”. It is an important event to celebrate racial and religious harmony spearheaded by Onepeople.sg.
The event will be held from 5pm to 8pm and the Guest-Of-Honour gracing the event will be Mr Lawrence Wong, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth. The event will comprise of a 10km Competitive Run and a 2.7km Fun Walk along the scenic routes of Marina Bay Sands and Gardens By the Bay.
Participation for the Fun Walk will be free and participants will receive a free “Race Against Racism” t-shirt. Competitive runners will receive a race pack which includes a t-shit and a bag. This event will be held in a festive atmosphere with high-energy performances accompanied by multicultural exhibitions, crafts, games and local delicacies which promise a fun time for families.
