Fabian Kwok: We are gaining more desire

Another former Young Lions player who lined up against them at Jalan Besar Stadium was Fabian Kwok. Putting in another decent performance, the midfielder was pivotal in helping Geylang International secure a consecutive clean sheet in a match that ended 0-0.
Speaking to EAGLES TV post match, Fabian Kwok lauded his former team but felt his side edged the encounter.
He said: “They did well, however, we managed to break them a few times but we did not finish our chances.”
Fabian also attributed his side’s failure to find an opening to fatigue.
He said: “Playing a game after having a game two days ago, the fatigue got to us and we could not push as much as we wanted to.”
Playing a part in the team’s tight defense, sweeping up everything there is in front of the back line, Fabian was clear when quizzed on the secret behind the defence’s performance.
He revealed: “There hasn’t been any secret. We have been putting in the hard work and we are just gaining more desire as we take each game as it comes.”
With the next match set to be a tougher test, Fabian remained confident as he said: “We will try to take all three points in Brunei.”
