Eagles go down in Eastern Derby

Jozef Kaplan scoring the equalizer

The first Eastern Derby of the 2012 season saw the Eagles go down 1-5 at home to rivals Tampines Rovers.

Fan favourite Jozef Kaplan scored the equalizer in the first half after going a goal down before the Stags retook the lead with a goal from Ahmed Fahmie.

Former Eagle Aleksandar Duric bagged a hattrick to help the Stags grab all three points from the Eagles.

The Eagles will travel to Jalan Besar Stadium this coming Thursday to take on Courts Young Lions.
