Basil: We played as a cohesive unit.

Yesterday we played as a cohesive unit, and we stuck to the coach’s instructions which helped us win the game.

This is the first year I am playing in the S.League, and I feel very good about my performances so far. The game against Balestier was my first ever S.League game.

It has been really great for me so far. I enjoy playing and the good performances gives me more confidence to better my game. My duty on the pitch for the two games (Balestier and Young Lions) were quite similar. Coach’s instruction to me was to sit in front of the back four and protect them. Playing simple passes and helping out in the build up from the back in tight situations is also part of my duty. My role is more of a midfield enforcer.
